Fissidens sp. ‘Bucephalandra’

Fissidens sp. ‘Bucephalandra’ is a delicate and attractive moss prized for its fine, compact growth and natural appearance. Endemic to Borneo, found in the same biotope as Bucephalandra with limited availability in the aquatic trade with similar care to other fissidens variants.

Its small, feather-like fronds gradually form a dense green growth over hardscape, making it particularly well suited to nano aquariums, shrimp tanks and detailed aquascapes. Given time to establish, it can create a beautiful aged and natural appearance across rocks and driftwood.

Like many Fissidens varieties, it is a slower-growing moss, making it ideal for aquascapers who enjoy watching a detailed layout develop over time.
