Taxiphyllum alternans ´Taiwan´
Taxiphyllum alternans is a creeping moss that is often found in the splash zone of cascades and waterfalls. It looks very similar to Taxiphyllum barbieri and Vesicularia montagnei – but it is much more densely branched and softer in structure. Like many mosses it grows well and is quite easy to care for. Good lighting and CO2 promote a particularly compact growth. Taxiphyllum alternans ‘Taiwan’ is highly recommended for nano aquariums as well as for detailed aquascaping landscapes.
