Plagiomnium cf. affine
Plagiomnium cf. affine is an upright growing moss with roundish leaflets. For this reason it is often called pearl moss. Since the leaflets sit like strung on a string of pearls on the clearly visible midrib. Unlike other mosses, it is somewhat more demanding to care for. Good lighting and higher levels of CO2 are very important for vital growth. The pearl moss makes a nice contrast to other moss varieties in the foreground to middle ground.
